My Favorite cPanel Reseller Hosting Providers That Have Kept Prices Low

Best cPanel reseller hosting

Most web hosting services have gotten more expensive lately due to AI-driven hardware price increases, and that applies to reseller hosting.

Another reason for the price hikes is that cPanel licensing has become more expensive, and the price keeps going up every year.

There are cheaper (and free) alternative control panels, but cPanel is the one I use and prefer. Most customers also prefer cPanel, so it’s not surprising that most reseller hosts stick with it.

I can recommend a few hosts that still offer competitive pricing:

Shock Hosting, ChemiCloud, and HostArmada are my favorite providers of affordable cPanel reseller hosting these days. Here’s my quick take on each one…

1. Shock Hosting

Shock Hosting is one of the hidden gems I’ve found. They have cPanel reseller hosting plans from $19.99/month without long-term commitment. Renews at the same price and their prices have stayed the same for years.

The support service is what I like most about it. You can actually talk to a human agent without going in loops with an AI chatbot. They respond quickly and better than many of the big box hosts out there.

Shock Hosting is based in the US but they have global server locations you can choose from at checkout; USA, UK, Europe, Australia, and others.

Pros:

  • Unlimited storage and bandwidth
  • Stable servers with minimal downtime
  • Free malware scanning by Imunify360
  • Free automatic backups
  • Dedicated IP address included
  • No renewal price hikes or upselling
  • Good support service by human agents

Cons:

  • Their website looks a little outdated
  • They seem bad at marketing (this could be a pro!)

2. ChemiCloud

ChemiCloud is another provider of cheap reseller hosting I was very satisfied with. They offer a generous number of cPanel accounts and other resources.

They have two plan options: Storage Optimized (more storage, fewer cPanel accounts) or Accounts Optimized (more cPanel accounts, less storage). You get a free Blesta license with all plans, or you can choose a free WHMCS (Starter) license with certain plans.

The Kickstart plan has 60 cPanel accounts with 40 GB storage and 3 TB bandwidth for $17.95/month initially then renews for $34.95/month. I haven’t found anything cheaper than this that doesn’t compromise on quality.

My experience with ChemiCloud’s support has also been great. I didn’t even need much support because I’ve had no issues with them.

Pros:

  • Discounted introductory price
  • Reasonable renewal price
  • Scalable resources (CPU and RAM)
  • Free Blesta/WHMCS billing system
  • Global server locations (USA, UK, EU, etc.)
  • Responsive and helpful support agents

Cons:

  • Not the best for resource-intensive websites, like e-commerce

3. HostArmada

HostArmada is very similar to ChemiCloud. Solid servers and excellent support service. I would have a hard time picking one over the other because both have been equally good in my experience.

The only advantage I can think of that ChemiCloud has over HostArmada is that their database limits are a bit more relaxed. So if you expect to host larger websites, I’d go with ChemiCloud. Other than that, you can’t go wrong with either.

Pros:

  • Solid cloud infrastructure with rare downtime
  • LiteSpeed servers with caching
  • Malware scanning and removal
  • Whitelabel reseller accounts

Cons:

  • Database size limit (500 MB max per database)
